Route Description:
Launching from east side of Milsey Bay head east along coastline. Travel 5k past The Leithies, Canty Bay, and on to view Tantallon Castle which apparently has a resident ghost. From there 2k out to Bass Rock, looping round the volcanic plug, and returning directly to Milsey Bay.

Parking is available but area is popular so spaces limited. Toilet facilities at Sea Bird Centre.
Points of Interest:
14th century Tantallon Castle and caves within the volcanic plug (Bass Rock). Bass rock was also home to a dungeon for religious and political prisoners, used up until WW1.
