Route Description:
Launch from beach ’Boden Boo’ NS 462 720, a short walk from car park, under the Erskine Bridge on the South shore. Firm sand. Paddle west for 7.5km along south shore to the end of the Lang Dyke lateral channel markers and cross over to Dumbarton Castle at the mouth of RIver Leven. It is possible to paddle up the River Leven towards the bridge but BEWARE of wier under the bridge. Small area for lunch south of the bridge on west bank of river, approx NS 393 751 (9.5km). Return to river mouth and head east along the North shore of Clyde to start point (18km)
