Leaving the golden sands, we head out onto the sea.   With the sun glinting off the gentle sea waters, we head towards the dramatic caves, cliffs and sea arches. As we approach the cliffs, the ocean swell crashes against the rocks. Above us, thousands of birds make their calls, surrounding us are seals, as inquisitive as ever. What will be in store for us around the next headland?

When Mother Nature created Scotland she may well have made the most perfect place for sea kayaking.  From Shetland, to St Kilda, to the Bass Rock or the Mull of Galloway, the coastline and islands boast some of the most interesting and varied seascapes for kayaking anywhere in the world.

Glasgow is a great city for sea kayaking. The Clyde Estuary offers sheltered waters with great scenery.  We often sea kayak on the Clyde to view Glasgow city centre from the water.   A couple of hours drive will get you sea kayaking on the west coast. Our club trips visit many of the best locations in Scotland.

Club trips vary in duration and challenge, from a short afternoon paddle on a nearby sea loch, to weekend trips which can include multi-day trips either in Scotland or further afield, such as in Norway.  Scotland has one of the most dramatic and beautiful coastlines in the world with abundant wildlife, from common seals to whales, and from otters to sea eagles.  Very few trips will disappoint with lack of sightings. Why not come and join us for a unique experience on the water.
