Second Saturday Paddle

A social paddle on the Second Saturday of each month.   These will be “grade A” paddles, exploring interesting locations around Glasgow – coasts, lochs, canals etc.

The Second Saturday paddles that fall on even months Feb/Apr/Jun/Aug/Oct/Dec will be particularly good for new paddlers who may not have kayaked outdoors yet, but may have been through DCKC Introduction to Kayaking sessions in the pool or Loch Lomond

Details for each trip are typically posted nearer to the time through WhatsApp. If you object to being added to a Whatsapp group or email list for the trip please indicate this to the leader / organiser when expressing an interest.   By default you will be added to group communications which are the usual, but not the only way, of updating everyone with trip details

The trip may feature a curry or meal following the trip, although this is at the discretion of the Leader or a team member willing to organise this.
