All Away Luss !- What wall-it-be (Wallaby) ?

Maybe a paddle round Inchconnachan, keeping a keen eye on the shore for the elusive Wallabies; paddling through the enchanting “Narrows” (between Inchtavannach and Inchconnachan); continuing beside Inchtavannach ready to spot a Highland Coo; gliding along by Aldochlay and checking out the sculpture of “Wee Peter”; or maybe getting as far as Inchmoan and spending a short time ashore on the idyllic south facing beach; then hunting the gap between Inchmoan and Inchcruin which can be elusive at low water.

What will it be?

Toilets, Changing and Car Parking:

There are public toilets and Car Parking at Luss Public Car Park, (Parking Cost £1.00/hour). Take a big towel or changing robe/dressing gown for changing in.

Meeting points:

You can meet us at one of two places:-

1. If you have your own transport and equipment you can meet us at the Luss Public Car Park. Park as close to Launch Point as possible. We are aiming to be on the water as close to 7.15pm as possible, although it may be a little after this.
2. If you wish to borrow a kayak/Canoe/SUP and/or equipment (paddle, wetsuite, Spray Deck, Buoyancy Aid) from the club then meet at the club container at Miller street, Clydebank. Aim to be here at close to 6:00pm as you can. We aim to leave as close to 6:15 as we can.

*Please note: Because we are never sure of exact numbers coming we can’t guarantee everyone will get the craft – kayak/Canoe or Sup – of their choice (We don’t pre-book these out so that people can turn up informally on the evening). While we do have a good range and number of boats, and generally there are enough of each type boat, you should be prepared to try something else in the unlikely event you don’t get your first choice. This might offer an opportunity to try something new – a SUP or shorter kayak for example.
