Tuesday Evening Beginners Night

New to kayaking? Come to our DCKC beginner’s night for a relaxed, social paddle designed specifically for newcomers. This is a great opportunity to get out on Loch Lomond with support from our coaches, meet other new members, and build confidence on the water.
The session will introduce some of the fundamental kayaking skills that will help prepare you for future club activities and trips.
Meeting point: Maid of the Loch, Balloch [ Google Maps || What Three words ///trailer.mills.sandbags ]
Time: The club container will be open from 18:30 for you to borrow kit. We aim to be on the water at 19:00.
Clothing and Equipment: Kayak, paddle, buoyancy aid, and spray deck will all be provided – please feel free to bring your own if you have this equipment. Wetsuits are of standard adult sizes and may also be borrowed, if needed. Please also bring neoprene shoes or wetsuit boots. A towel, change of clothes, and hot drink and/or snack for after the session is advisable.
There is access to toilet/changing facilities at the start of the session only.
Cost: £5 payable in cash or by contactless payment on the night
