The Tide Race Trainer!

Aimed (but not exclusively!) at sea kayakers with ambitions of paddling in more adventurous waters, this is a three week course taking advantage of the flow at Pinkston to build and develop the basics needed for paddling in moving water, and culminating with a trip to the Falls of Lora on a gentle ebb tide (8th June). The usual Pinkston fee (£10 per night) will apply to the Pinkston sessions. Paddlers will be familiar with being rescued after a capsize.
At Pinkston, we will use the club white water boats, and will transfer the skills we’ve gained into our sea kayaks for the Falls of Lora trip.
