ROOTS Trip

You have the basics of manoeuvring a sea kayak and keeping it going in a straight line. Now you want to get out into a coastal environment and experience the joy of sea kayaking. ROOTS sessions (Reaching Out Onto The Sea) will combine a short trip with some coaching input to help you start to develop the solid sea kayaking skills that will give you the confidence to sign up for club trips. Numbers are limited and you should notify your interest for any trip to the trip leader at least 1 week in advance. Please note, the logistics of transporting kayaks mean that it will be necessary for you to have access to a vehicle with roof bars and / or be prepared to car share.
