Mind-blowing Shetland Summer Expedition
For the past few years we have managed to run a 9 day sea kayaking expedition trip with venues including, Orkney, Shetland, West Coast and Islands and the North East Coast. This year we are hoping to make it a Shetland year (weather permitting!!!). We stay flexible and always have a back plan B, C and D for different weather patterns.
The expedition can be fairly popular and we normally limit numbers to 12 group members so we ask people interested to email us to note interest (info@dckc.co.uk). We can then let people know if they can be accommodated but we also normally keep a reserve list too. The trip normally has some time camping on campsites but also aims for a few days on expedition, wild camping and journeying.
This year we are thinking of ferry out on Thursday 22nd August in the evening, catching ferry back on the Saturday evening (31st August) after a shorter day paddle.
