Islay Whisky Tour!

The plan is to trolley our packed boats onto the Kennacraig to Port Askcaig ferry at 1300 on
Friday 29 th May. Catch the ebb tide down the Sound of Islay and paddle to Aros Bay where
we will wild camp.

On Saturday we will explore the Ardmore Islands before going to the
Ardbeg distillery for the grand finale party and will camp nearby. On Sunday we will explore
the coast past several distilleries and hope to camp on Texa that night. On Monday we will
pack up promptly and head for Port Ellen to catch the 1245 ferry back to the mainland. All
this is subject to weather, of course!

If you are interested in coming please let me know. You will need to book your ferry
passages as foot passengers with kayaks. The cost is £9.00 each way.
