Introduction to Moving Water 3 week course

A series of three one-night sessions providing a gentle introduction to the techniques required to paddle on moving water. Suitable for anyone who has grasped the basics of boat control and would like to extend their experience to the moving water environment. The skills taught in this 3 week course will be relevant whether you have ambitions towards river paddling or navigating moving water in a sea kayak.

All three sessions will be located in the flat water basin at Pinkston Watersports Centre using general purpose (pool type) boats – it’ll also be a great introduciton to pinkston for those interested in what goes on on a thursday night!
