This is an enjoyable event and a great way to get some coaching or do some 3 star or other courses at a subsidised rate . It is highly recommended for the clubs coaches, committee members and helpers.
If you woudl like to go you can book directly but also chat to sandy or Graham for more info as they have been before and can help with any questions. We will probably arrange a lift share too.
SCA Club and Volunteer Conference – 12-13 April 2014
This highlight in the calendar is a action packed weekend to support club members from across Scotland. We have workshops suitable for complete beginners, aspiring coaches, club officials and committee members. Previous events have attracted around 70 volunteers from clubs throughout Scotland.
The conference takes place over the weekend of Friday 11th – Sunday 13th April 2014. Residential delegates arrive on Friday evening with bar meals are available until approx 9pm. The main conference takes place all day Saturday and Sunday with a range of workshops (see full programme).
As this is a subsidised event to support SCA Affiliated Clubs all delegates must be a member of an Affiliated Club. Delegates who are not individual SCA members will pay a small additional fee to cover ‘day membership’ of the SCA. The SCA is very grateful to all the volunteers involved in delivering the event.

Location
Glenmore Lodge The sportscotland National Centre in the heart of the Cairngorm’s is again partnering us in delivering this event. Use of their equipment, excellent facilities and helpful staff are reasons enough to go back year after year!

Both Sandy and Graham are attending. Spaces on the various workshops are filling up fast. I thoroughly recommend this to all the coaches and anyone else who is involved in the organisation of the club. It gives a great opportunity to do that 3 star you’ve been thinking of doing and its a good social weekend as well.
