SUMMARY:Mince Pie Paddle / Second Saturday Paddle
DESCRIPTION:The Mince Pie paddle is a great DCKC tradition. Always the last weekend before Christmas unless the weather says No! So we have rescheduled for Saturday 11th January 2025. We set off from Millarochy Bay to Inchcailloch\, have a BBQ\, mince pies on BBQ after. Then a wee walk up to summit for beautiful view up Loch Lomond. DESCRIPTION:You have the basics of manoeuvring a sea kayak and keeping it going in a straight line. Now you want to get out into a coastal environment and experience the joy of sea kayaking. ROOTS sessions (Reaching Out Onto The Sea) will combine a short trip with some coaching input to help you start to develop the solid sea kayaking skills that will give you the confidence to sign up for club trips. Numbers are limited and you should notify your interest for any trip to the trip leader at least 1 week in advance.
