SUMMARY:Introduction to Moving Water 3 week course
DESCRIPTION:A series of three one-night sessions providing a gentle introduction to the techniques required to paddle on moving water. Suitable for anyone who has grasped the basics of boat control and would like to extend their experience to the moving water environment. The skills taught in this 3 week course will be relevant whether you have ambitions towards river paddling or navigating moving water in a sea kayak. \nAll three sessions will be located in the flat water basin at Pinkston Watersports Centre using general purpose (pool type) boats – it’ll also be a great introduciton to pinkston for those interested in what goes on on a thursday night! \nBooking required to ensure that sufficient boats and helpers! SUMMARY:SpeyBAY BONANZA! [Ballachulish on tour]
DESCRIPTION:Following feedback from last year’s Bonanza we’ll go to an alternate venue every second year for the Ballachulish Bonanaza.  This year we go hunting for surf\, rapids and dolphins in the Speybay area\nThe location means there will be good options for both river\, sea and surf trips so there’s no excuse not to come and it should be a great chance to socialise whatever your paddling persuasion! \nWe’ll be staying in the hall so no tents are required but you’ll need to bring something to sleep on and under.  \nThe trip will be £30 per person to cover renting the hall\, plus a share of the grocery cost and usual fees for anyone needing to borrow kit. \nCome along and celebrate the end of a (hopefully) great summer of paddling on a trip that has something for everyone!
