The club have a regular Thursday night slot which runs from 8pm to 9.30pm. It is a great place to learn the basics of paddling in moving water or to develop and hone river or sea skills. \nWe are also able to access the “basin” (a flat water section) at 7.30pm to warm up. \nWe have a dedicated and trained member who ensures safety throughout the evening and adjusts the pumps to the required flow. We normally vary the number of pumps during the session depending on the group. We mainly run on 2 pumps but may switch to 1 pump for those new to moving water or to 3 pumps for the more adventurous. \nThere are normally a range of experienced paddlers or coaches around to offer informal advice but we also run specific coached sessions too.
