This is a breakaway paddle with the benefit of a full moon. Launching at Lunderston Bay and crossing over to Dunoon and the surrounding area Approx 10km. Planning to be of the water for around 10:30pm.
A sea paddle with a slight difference! Starting from Stirling and paddling down the winding River Forth with the outgoing tide. Near the start of the paddle there is a short gentle grade 1 rapid to overcome, and as we approach the end of the paddle there is a few tidal races especially near the get out at South Alloa. The distance of this paddle is just under 30km. There is very limited get outs on this trip, as the river banks are covered in very soft mud. (I’m really selling this trip!) However, with this being a river, coupled with an out going tide this will be a very speedy trip. We also have the benefit of fantastic views of Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument and the Ochil Hills, so remember to bring a camera, stunning. Meeting up at Dobbies Garden Center, Stirling, just off the Motorway at 9.30am.
A moon lit paddle on Loch Ard. Approx 10km Meeting up at Loch Ard for 7.30pm.
Another chance to get out to the Bass Rock Meeting up at North Berwick at 10.30am. Total distance 10km. Remember to bring a hat!!!!
A Night Paddle on Loch Lomond. Departing from Balmaha and paddling past various Islands to Luss, before returning by a different route. Total distance approx 16km. Meeting up at Balmaha for 7pm.
A good winter paddle not far from home. Departing from Roseneth and then heading down the Gareloch with the ebbing tide. With a lunch stop at Kilcreggan, and then catching the flood tide to take us up Loch Long and up to Coulport. Approx 20km. Meeting at the Stores for 9am or at Coulport for 10.30am.
