(Further Club Contacts are also available at http://dckc.co.uk/members-pages/contact-details/ and are password protected. The password should be provided to all club members – email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need it).
Please remember to give the respective trip leader at least ONE WEEKS notice if you would like to attend a trip. This is especially important if you intend to borrow club equipment. Also please contact the Trip leader the night before to check for any final updates regarding information. (Weather, Meeting points, etc.). If you are a newcomer you should start off with club coach led sessions in the pool and loch and then attend a Grade A trip so that you can judge your capabilities against other paddlers and minimise the risk to yourself. Please ensure you have learnt forward paddling, support strokes, capsize drill and X-rescue (re-entering a boat from deep water) before attending an A trip.
